Sofas & Stuff is a fast-growing, independent furniture retailer. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful West Sussex countryside in a converted dairy, and we have a network of 25 showrooms nationwide.

We are delighted to offer a one-year fixed-term maternity cover position for a highly motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic individual to work 5 days per week at our Knutsford Showroom.

As a Sales and Design consultant, you would advise customers on choosing their ideal sofa, which involves patience, creativity and a great personality. You would have a flair for putting colour schemes together in the Showroom and have a natural instinct to treat customers to the highest level of Customer Service.

An outgoing personality who enjoys talking to people, ideally, you will come from a strong retail background. You must have great communication skills, be well presented, have a positive attitude and, above all, be a people person.

Although previous experience in sofa sales would be a plus, it is not essential as full training will be given. Sound administration skills and computer literacy are essential.

Previous experience within an interior design environment would be strongly beneficial. Experience in sales and an ability to work under pressure in a busy environment are essential.

As we are open every day, the flexibility to be able to work weekends is essential. You will be required to work 5 days per week, working any 5 out of 7 days.
