Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Event Manager to lead the sales strategy and manage end-to-end planning and execution of events. This role combines proactive sales outreach with hands-on event coordination, ensuring revenue growth, client satisfaction, and memorable event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for private hires, ticketed events, corporate functions, and sponsorships.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, promoters, and agencies.
Prepare and pitch sales proposals tailored to client needs.
Develop packages and pricing strategies in collaboration with management.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Event Planning & Management:
Oversee all aspects of event planning, including logistics, staffing, AV requirements, suppliers, and licensing.
Act as the main point of contact for clients from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.
Ensure smooth on-the-day event execution with attention to detail and problem-solving under pressure.
Liaise with internal teams (bar, kitchen, tech, security) to deliver seamless events.
Marketing & Promotion Support:
Work with marketing to promote upcoming events and hire opportunities.
Assist in creating event collateral (flyers, web listings, social posts).
Attend networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to generate leads.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain accurate sales and event booking records using CRM or booking systems.
Provide regular sales reports and event feedback to management.
Manage contracts, invoicing, and post-event client communications.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience in sales and/or event management (ideally 1+ years).
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Confident in dealing with high-profile clients and VIP guests.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends depending on event schedule.
Knowledge of the events, hospitality, or live entertainment industry is preferred.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and basic budgeting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or Event Management.
First Aid or Event Safety Training is a plus.
