When the guest walks through the door, imagine the look on their face when they take that first look around, all the planning has been executed down to the smallest detail. You'll help deliver the warmest welcomes and most memorable events that keep them coming back again and again.


You'll make suggestions to create the most unique events that stand out from any others and ensure its unique and one of a kind.





What you'll do




Respond promptly and professionally to all sales and event enquiries across multiple communication channels (phone, email, in-person) Take full responsibility for the entire sales journey, collaborating closely with clients during the planning stages to ensure all their needs are understood and met, while effectively communicating information to relevant hotel departments Conduct property show rounds and actively engage in suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to ensure smooth and exceptional customer service throughout the event planning and execution process. Prepare and manage various sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) Communicate event-related information packages, promotional brochures, and other marketing materials to clients to effectively convey event offerings Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and guests, addressing enquiries related to hotel facilities, event services, and logistics Provide support for all event-related enquiries and bookings, ensuring that every detail is handled with care

What we're looking for




A warm, people-oriented demeanour A team-first attitude A gift for paying attention to the smallest details The ability to think outside of the box and upsell to create memorable events Planning, multi-tasking and time-management skills Previous experience in a similar role as a Wedding or Special Events executive would be an advantage but not essential

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days, predominately Monday - Friday day shifts although there may be the need to cover weekends or evenings for show rounds or to welcome your Clients for their event, after all you wouldn't miss out seeing the smile on their face after all of your planning.
