Role Purpose
We're looking for a results-driven
Sales and Key Accounts Executive
to play a vital role in driving sales, growing our client base, and maintaining top-tier service for our valued partners. You'll lead on new business development while ensuring existing accounts receive exceptional support and service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and has a genuine passion for sport.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Deliver and exceed personal and company sales targets and KPIs
Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities across the UK
Develop bespoke teamwear solutions for sports clubs, educational institutions, and organisations
Lead outreach campaigns and attend networking events or client visits where required
Account Management & Client Retention
Act as the key point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a high-quality customer experience
Build long-term client relationships based on trust, reliability, and value
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely fulfilment and accuracy of orders
Monitor client satisfaction and implement improvements to increase retention
Performance & Administration
Maintain accurate records of client communication, sales pipeline, and KPIs using CRM software
Generate and present regular performance reports to the Company Directors
Work closely with the production team
Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform strategy
Support the training and development of internal team members
Ensure full compliance with internal processes and timelines
Marketing & Brand Growth
Contribute to strategic marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
Represent the 17Sport brand professionally on visits, calls, and at events
Support content creation and engagement across digital platforms and social media
KPIs and Success Measures
Monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets achieved
Client retention rate
Speed and quality of account servicing
CRM and admin compliance
Growth of average order value across key accounts
Contribution to new business acquisition
Person Specification
/
Criteria
Experience in sales, account management, or retail
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Strong IT and digital literacy
Organised, reliable, and capable of handling multiple projects
Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Confident relationship builder
Driving licence (due to client visits)
Interest in or understanding of sports clubs/teamwear
Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
Knowledge of social media and digital marketing
Previous experience in teamwear or sports retail
