Thomas Michael is an independent City of London estate and letting agency covering the City and City fringe, broadly the EC1, EC2, EC3 and EC4 post codes.

We now have an established presence in these areas, a large client base and are looking to rapidly grow the agency and the brand. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to play a significant role in the growth of clients and revenue of a Central London estate and letting agency working directly with the agency owner. The role is based in our City office close to St Paul's but a large part of the role will be fulfilled out of the office undertaking viewings and marketing activities.

The individual will take a full role in the sales and lettings side of business, business development and marketing. Tasks will primarily involve:

Organising and undertaking viewings; Agreeing tenancies and sales and liaising between sellers, landlords, buyers and applicant tenants; Producing tenancy agreements, handling the commencement of tenancies, undertaking 'right to rent' checks and tenancy renewals; Business development - securing new sales and lettings business (at least one new client per month); Listing properties on the property portals; Delivering of letters and flyers; Giving feedback and updates to clients and maintaining good client relationships; Sales progression and liaising with solicitors and other parties; Property inspections; and Any other duties and errands as required to assist the agency.

We are looking to take on an ambitious, entrepreneurial, confident, hard-working, organised and self-motivated individual who wishes to get fully involved in the growth of this agency.

This is principally a full-time role on Monday to Friday. Additional evening hours as viewings dictate. There may be Saturday working but this would be occasional rather than frequent.

Requirements



We are looking for either someone with 2 years + experience as a sales or lettings negotiator in a Central London estate and letting agency, who understands and enjoys the business and is committed to the real estate industry in the medium to long term.

Being organised, the ability to prioritise tasks and good diary management; A desire to learn and provide excellent client service; Excellent spoken and written English; Good computer skills being very familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; and Driving licence not required.

What we will offer you?



There is a basic salary with expected OTE (basic salary + commission) of 40,000 to 60,000 in the first year. Of course, the commission is uncapped and the OTE will depend heavily on what this individual brings to the role and the agency, that is to say the OTE could be higher in the first year than the range given. The basic salary will be subject to experience.

First class training, guidance and mentoring in all aspects of sales, lettings and business development will be provided by the business owner. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress their career in Central London real estate. This will be a role where you will take as much out of it in terms of experience, earnings and career progression as you chose to put into the growth of the agency.
