The business operates all over the UK and occasionally there will be the opportunity to travel to site and support the Installations Team.
Key Responsibilities
ADMIN
Answering and responding to customers on phone and email
Liaising with the team on daily / weekly / monthly tasks and deadlines
Dealing with inbound orders from quotation through to fulfilment
Booking services with suppliers and venues
Entering and maintaining data on our in-house sales software and tracking spreadsheets
Preparing documents and paperwork for the Installation Teams
General and ad-hoc admin duties expected of an office administrator.
Creating online stores using an in-house software.
Working closely with Event Organisers ensuring exhibitors have everything they require for their event.
Keeping to sales deadlines and ensuring payment is received ahead of an event.
Maximising sales from our storefronts with exhibitors.
Having Teams calls with exhibitors that wish to discuss stand requirements.
Send out email campaigns for flash sales and promotional early bird discounts.
Keeping track of exhibitor shopping carts and following up accordingly.
Chasing outstanding balances, especially when any discount periods are due to end.
ONLINE MARKETING
Important to be able to use Canva / photoshop / design programme equivalent
To keep our sales brochure up to date
Designs for social media
Monthly emails to be sent out from MailChimp
Updating our audience of Total Event moments from the past month, any outstanding stand builds or successful show, news from within the company etc
Essential Skills
Computer literate with excellent Excel and Word skills.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Adaptable.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Equally comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
Essential to be able to use Canva / photoshop / design programme equivalent.
Hours of work
This is a part-time role anticipated working 5 days per week - 5 hours per day
The nature of our business requires flexibility and there will be times when you are needed to work outside of normal working hours and occasionally working over your contracted hours during busy periods. In these scenarios any unworked lieu time would be utilised or accrued.
It is important that you are able to show flexibility in your approach to working hours, sometimes being able to make adjustments at short notice.
Hours can be reasonably flexible and occasional home working can be accommodated.
