Opportunity:
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a purposeful business with offices in Newbury who are looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Executive to build relationships with schools and universities and recruit students for once-in-a-lifetime overseas trips.
As a Sales and Marketing Executive, it will be your responsibility to promote overseas programmes, deliver presentations and advise students on a 1-1 basis about the unique opportunities available via social media platforms, in person, over the telephone and via email enquiries.
The Sales and Marketing Executive vacancy is well-suited to an energetic, outgoing and confident candidate who is looking for a multidimensional role. Whilst the role is largely sales-focused, the successful candidate will also be responsible for interacting with potential customers and increasing the brand presence through social media.

Our client are looking to recruit a confident and energetic Sales and Marketing Executive to join their offices in Newbury, although they are happy for the right candidate to work a hybrid model with 1-2 days in the office as well as some travel to school and universities.
Requirements:

• Highly ambitious and proactive with a drive to make sales through a variety of methods including face-to-face presentations, telemarketing techniques and social media interactions
• A strong and engaging communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A real team player with the ability and autonomy to manage a varied workload and multitask
• Previous experience of travelling or working in the travel, education or charity sector would be desirable but is not essential
• As there would be some travel associated to the role, the successful Sales and Marketing Executive will need to hold a full UK driving license.
