In addition to our on-site shop and attractions, we operate a thriving online shop and supply fresh and smoked trout products to local pubs, hotels, and restaurants.
Role Overview
:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented
Sales and Marketing Executive
to join our team. In this role, you will focus on growing our customer base and driving sales through
the trade and via the online shop
. You will play a key role in expanding our presence in the hospitality industry by developing strong relationships with pubs, hotels, and restaurants, while also supporting sales efforts for our e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
:
Proactively identify and approach pubs, hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality businesses to promote and sell Bibury Trout Farm's fresh and smoked trout products.
Customer Relationship Management
: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and repeat business.
Sales Growth
: Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying new opportunities and converting leads into long-term partnerships.
Online Shop Support
: Collaborate with the team to increase sales through the online shop by recommending promotions and providing feedback from customer interactions.
Work with the rest of the team in and out of house to build and execute marketing campaigns
Market Research
: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
Order Management
: Coordinate orders and deliveries with relevant staff ensuring smooth and timely fulfilment.
Reporting
: Track and report sales performance, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
Support social media campaigns.
Skills & Experience
:
Proven experience in sales, ideally within the food, ecommerce and hospitality sectors.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Familiarity with e-commerce and online sales is a bonus.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for local, sustainable produce and countryside businesses is highly desirable.
Knowledge on marketing would be beneficial.
You will be working as part of a small team, the right applicant must be prepared to be involved and show a basic understanding of all areas of the business.
