Position Summary



This role focuses on acquiring corporate sponsorship and sponsorship opportunities for our existing cohort of athletes. Based at our head office in Cheadle Royal Business Park, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing sponsorship partnerships that align with our athletes' profiles and performance goals. You will not be involved in negotiating athlete contracts, but will concentrate solely on sponsorship acquisition and relationship management with brands and partners.

Key Responsibilities



Research and identify corporate sponsorship opportunities for Inspire Capital Sports and athlete sponsorships that align with athletes' profiles and marketability. Develop and deliver compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations to potential partners. Manage outreach to brands, agencies, and potential sponsors to secure new deals. Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective sponsors. Track sponsorship deliverables, ensuring agreements are fulfilled and documented. Work closely with the athlete management and marketing teams to align sponsorships with promotional strategies. Maintain detailed records of sponsorship activity, progress, and outcomes. Report regularly to management on sponsorship pipeline and performance.

Qualifications & Skills



Experience desirable in sales, sponsorship acquisition, or business development, ideally within sports, media, or entertainment Digital marketing experience desirable Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills. Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels. Creative and strategic approach to developing sponsorship opportunities. Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for sports and understanding of brand-athlete partnerships.
