The sales and marketing division within Siemens-Energy's Aero Gas Turbines (AGT) faces challenges related to both the present and future of the enterprise. Within this diverse function, there are opportunities to gain insights into commercialisation, sales development, customer engagement programs, and oversee solution development. The team operates globally, collaborating across local and regional entities, making it essential to navigate time zones and cultural differences naturally as part of your role and skillset.

How You'll make an Impact

As a member of the AGT Sales Team, you will support the department in achieving the Sales Order intake. You will aid a team responsible for the global sales of products, both on a technical and commercial level, via Siemens-Energy Regional Entities and directly to Siemens Energy end-user customers. You will contribute to the commercialisation of new products and services by developing business cases and defining sales strategies. You will work collaboratively within a team; you will help enhance the tools and processes required for efficient and effective sales. You will promote improvement initiatives whilst partnering with other departments and internal stakeholders. You will question existing practices with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

You will be working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, Communications or something relatable to the role. You should possess a solid understanding of Sales and Commercial Business Principles and practices in a business-to-business context. You are a motivated individual who consistently takes ownership of tasks and projects assigned to you. You can effectively collaborate as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team. You have strong attention to detail and apply analytical skills to decision-making and problem-solving. You can comprehend and communicate complex information effectively, demonstrating proficiency in writing and IT skills, including the use of Excel and PowerPoint.

About the Team

The service engineering function at AGT comprises several teams, the graduate scheme will normally be focused around these areas allowing a broad perspective to be developed but also deep understanding (placements will be assigned after recruitment based on a combination of business need and individual preference). The graduate programme will, through rotational placements within our diverse portfolio, allow a broad experience to be gained positioning you to explore your future career direction.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
