Hi, I'm Hetty
I'm the founder of two joyful, value-led food brands. Hetty's Kitchen (brownies, baby) and Hetty's Place (our brunch cafe at Gloucester Food Dock).
Both are growing. Both are loved by our customers. And both need a strategic, commercial Sales and Marketing Manager who's up for helping us scale the right way with creativity, guts, and a real feel for what makes people tick.
You'll be a special, one of a kind, marketing unicorn who has a wide breadth of experience who can 'do a bit of everything' and a 'if I don't know it I'll find out' attitude.
Your experience will be able to demonstrate how our breadth of comms & channels need to add up to work together to not only achieve sales but also to create real opportunities for meaningful growth & legacy creation.
THE ROLE
This isn't just about planning a few social posts and reviewing email stats.
This is about joining the dots across retail, e-commerce, hospitality and wholesale and building a brand that people fall in love with.
You'll be the one person marketing team turning one-time customers into long-term fans, working across social, email, community events, collabs, website updates, PR, the works.
YOU'LL NEED TO:
Have experience in marketing or sales & marketing (ideally in food, e-comm or hospitality)
Be confident using Klaviyo, WooCommerce, and Meta platforms
Understand how marketing supports the actual business (not just vanity metrics)
Be excited by words like 'flows', 'community', 'customer journey', and 'multi-channel purchasing'
Be proactive, strategic, and up for rolling your sleeves up when needed.... which in a small scrappy business, can happen a lot!
Get the power of values-led branding and why it's more than just a tagline
Be able to spot a gap and fill it before I even realise it was there
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Creating the overall marketing strategy (with autonomy to make it yours)
Working with existing data to increase loyalty and repeat buying
Creating content founder Hetty, that tells our story & makes people hungry
Leading email strategy, campaign planning & performance reviews via Klaviyo
Overseeing the website (product updates, SEO, user experience)
Managing community events, PR, brand collabs
Driving online and in person sales across all our income streams
Suggesting new ideas (and actually getting to implement them)
Working closely with the founder, the bakery & product development to align strategy & timings & inform the next launch
Giving feedback on what's working and what isn't
