Summary

As a Sales and Production Assistant at Wessex Clothing, you will play a vital role in supporting our production team to deliver exceptional custom clothing solutions. This position is essential for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality products that meet their unique specifications.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming sales and customer service enquiries and see orders through from initial enquiry to quoting to production and finally to quality control. Create order previews using design software such as CorelDraw for customer sign-off Prepare invoices for customers using platforms such as excel/ google sheets Assist in the preparation and setup of order production including vinyl and transfer cutting, embroidery testing and screen making. Support the production team in executing embroidery and printing tasks efficiently. Ensure quality control measures are followed throughout the production process. Maintain an organized workspace and assist with inventory management. Stock and consumable ordering and allocation Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and client expectations. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to production techniques.

Requirements

Competent in MS office or Google workspace applications; especially outlook/ gmail, excel (sheets) and word. A working knowledge of vector based design programs (CorelDRAW, Illustrator etc) Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Basic understanding of garment production processes is essential - embroidery, screen, vinyl and transfer printing.
