Job Title Sales and Structuring, Structured Trade and Export Finance Location London Corporate Title Assistant Vice President/ Vice President Structured Trade and Export Finance specialises in delivering innovative financing and risk management solutions for clients\' cross-border and inbound trade/ infrastructure investment transactions. We have extensive experience in arranging, structuring, underwriting, and advising on major syndicated transactions for our clients globally. You will work closely with United Kingdom (UK) Export Finance, Finnvera, UK Infrastructure Bank and Private Risk Insurers (PRI) in the market. The team is a part of Deutsche\xe2\x80\x99s Trade Finance and Lending Group, and you will be working with other product pillars to offer an optimal financing solution. Your key responsibilities
  • Structuring and executing medium to long-term export credit agency (ECA) and commercial loan transactions. Collaborating closely with clients (both exporters and borrowers), ECAs, brokers and PRIs to successfully close these transactions
  • Liaising with external clients and internal partners to deliver pitches, structuring solutions for our clients financing needs
  • Preparing credit papers, calculating transaction profitability, preparing internal memos, and liaising with internal teams to support internal approval processes
  • Coordinating legal documentation with external legal counsel and internal partners to successfully execute transactions
  • Structuring transactions using a variety of different hedging and de-risking techniques including bank syndications, insurance solutions, credit default swap, securitisation and repackaging to offer the most optimal solution to clients.
  • Supporting the team in portfolio and transaction management responsibilities
Your skills and experience
  • Relevant experience in loan markets or with export credit agencies, with strong knowledge of trade and trade related loan products and structures to create de-risking strategies and place those transactions with a diversified landscape of investors
  • Strong track record in structuring and executing transactions
  • Well established record of originating transactions and delivering client pitches
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to provide clear and concise report (written or verbal) on complex matters to a wide variety of stakeholders
