Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling goods, organising stock, and ensuring safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, organised, and eager to contribute to a busy logistics environment. Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Loading and unloading goods from lorries and containers using appropriate equipment. Organising stock within the warehouse, including shelving and stacking items safely. Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment. Conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Assisting with inventory management and recording stock movements. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or injuries. Operating basic warehouse machinery such as pallet trucks or forklifts (training provided if necessary).

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not mandatory. Good organisational skills with an eye for detail. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Basic numeracy skills for stock counting and data entry tasks. Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to safety procedures. Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
