The ideal candidate requires strong agronomic and commercial experience and a passion for Crop Nutrition.
Reporting to the Head of Crop Nutrition Services for our retail fertilizer business we are seeking two Sales Area Managers to join our commercial team. The candidates should ideally be based in Central England and East Anglia.
The successful candidate will be home based and have specific responsibility for the sale and promotion of Yara products, digital tools and services within their territory.

Responsibilities


  • Managing own portfolio of farm accounts
  • Formulate and monitor sales plans covering the full product portfolio
  • Providing a full crop nutrition service within the territory
  • Accurate order book management
  • Technical support for Yara digital tools and services
  • Providing agronomic advice and support to key stakeholders within the region
  • Support Customer Services and Transport in providing high quality service to the customer
  • Support Finance with credit limits and debt management
  • Coordinate the marketing plan within the territory and represent the company at events, farmer meetings, field days and shows
  • Updating wider teams on market intelligence


Profile


The ideal candidate should:
  • be educated to degree level or equivalent (not essential) or relevant Agricultural experience
  • FACTS qualification is essential (training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • BASIS advantageous but not essential
  • demonstrate success in Sales and Technical advice
  • develop a close relationship with Farmers and Agronomists
  • have a good awareness of legislation affecting agriculture
  • have excellent interpersonal skills
  • display sound financial understanding
  • be self-motivated and results driven
  • be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • hold a valid UK driving licence.
