Job Overview



We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable

Junior Sales Assistant

to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in sales, customer service, or business development. You will support the sales team by assisting with customer enquiries, processing orders, maintaining records, and helping to ensure a smooth sales process from enquiry to delivery. Full training will be provided, offering excellent opportunities for progression.

Duties



Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email in a professional and friendly manner. Support the sales team in preparing quotations, processing orders, and maintaining client records. Update CRM systems and spreadsheets with accurate sales and customer information. Assist with follow-ups on quotes and enquiries to help convert leads into confirmed orders. Maintain a tidy, organised workspace and assist in general administrative tasks. Help with stock checks, product organisation, and presentation if applicable. Provide basic information about products and services to customers. Support marketing and promotional activities as needed, such as updating social media or preparing sales materials. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Skills & Qualities



Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good telephone etiquette. Confident, positive attitude and willingness to learn. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, CRM or data entry experience is a plus). Ability to work well within a team and follow direction. Numeracy skills for handling prices, orders, and invoices. Enthusiasm for sales, customer service, and developing new skills.

Requirements



No prior experience required, full training will be provided. GCSE level education or equivalent (A-levels or higher are a plus). Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or office environment is beneficial but not essential.

Salary & Benefits



Competitive starting salary (typically

22,000-24,000 per year
