An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Assistant to join the team at Cornwall Baby Store. This will primarily be based in the St Austell store but cover to the Truro store.
Serve customers and deal with queries
Conduct customer transactions and process cash/card and online payments
Update customer data base as required
Handling product returns and payment refund request
Handling complaints or forwarding serious issues to the manager
Report any inventory or service issues to management
Promote products based on Company directives
Arranging products on shelves, promotional displays and window displays
Unpack and sort stock deliveries
Managing product inventory at the store
Maintain and update administration in accordance with current procedures
About you:
You will be highly motivated and have a desire to deliver excellent customer service
A proven ability to work well within a team and use own initiative
Ability to adapt to frequent change and a high pressure environment
Experience in a customer service role with face-to-face customer contact is desirable
Experience in a retail environment is desirable
Experience using till systems is desirable but not essential
The role:
This is a part time position for two - three days per week, one/two days during the week plus Saturdays, with flexibility to cover holidays as and when needed
Salary: Meets National Minimum Wage
