Part-time Sales Assistant

If so, you could be part of the growing team at Winnies1975 store in Broughshane.

Applicants are invited for

Part Time Sales Assistants,

working Monday-Saturday , 10am-5pm, on a rota basis, and may include working out of our Magherafelt store if and when required.

Successful candidates must have excellent personal presentation, be bright and enthusiastic and able to interact effectively with customers, contributing to the overall sales targets of the business.

Duties will include sales of homeware products, stock management, store presentation and merchandising.

Sales staff are expected to develop an in depth knowledge of our wide range of homewares, and represent all our brands effectively in store.

Previous experience in retail sales or promotions is an advantage but not essential.

21 Hours per week - Saturday working is essential (late nights not required)

Hourly rate : TBC .

Key responsibilities

Customer Service:

Greet customers, answer product- related questions, provide advice and resolve complaints, ensuring a pleasant, welcoming visitor experience.

Sales and Transactions:

Process sales at a point-of-sale system, previous knowledge of Shopify would be an advantage but not essential, manage cash and card payments and gift wrap sold items

Stock Management:

Receive and unpack deliveries, merchandise stock on shelves, rotate stock and monitor levels.

Store Presentation:

Maintain a clean and tidy environment, and create and update product displays (including street windows) to attract customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
