We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our peacocks Banbridge team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with merchandising, and contributing to the overall success of our sales efforts. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising techniques. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Utilise upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and boost sales performance. Handle transactions accurately while demonstrating basic math skills for cash handling. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of service.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Proficient in basic math for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Excellent organisational skills to keep the sales area tidy and well-stocked. Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy retail environment.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
