Position Overview:


Abiglobal Foods Ltd is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by effectively communicating with customers, processing orders, generating invoices, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Communication:

Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person to address inquiries, provide product information, and assist with order placements.

Order Processing:

Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer specifications.

Invoicing:

Generate invoices for customer orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and payment terms.

Sales Support:

Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, promoting new products, and following up on leads.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock availability for fulfilling customer orders.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing personalized service, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and order statuses using CRM software or other designated systems.

Administrative Tasks:

Assist with various administrative duties as assigned, including filing paperwork, organizing documents, and preparing reports for management.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Adherence to Policies:

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.

Qualifications:



Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using computer software and applications, including MS Office suite and CRM systems. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Knowledge of African food products and familiarity with the multicultural market in London and the UK is an asset. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required.

Pay: 26,000.00-29,000.00 per year

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

Retail sales: 1 year (preferred) customer service: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
