Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person to work in our family-run Pick and Mix business. The shop is located in the centre of North Laine and has been established for over 36 years.

The successful candidate will be required to work every:

Monday (10am - 6pm) Friday (10am - 6pm)
and would also be required to cover additional shifts (holiday cover and busy seasonal periods).

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, reliable and should be able to confidently work in the shop on their own (once training and shadowing shifts have been undertaken).

The successful candidate will be required to open and close the shop, so experience of such routines would be advantageous.

The role involves:

Advising & serving customers Working on the till Ensuring stock levels are well maintained Providing customers with information on pricing, products, and allergies Cleaning Cashing up Opening and closing of the shop Handling credit/debit card and cash transactions Fulfilling internet orders
The successful candidate must be:

Able to carry out work under their own initiative Ability to work unsupervised Punctual Reliable Flexible Be able to work as part of a team Friendly Trustworthy
The candidate will ideally have experience in a customer-facing retail environment.

Pay will be determined by age.

Full training will be given.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
