Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our weekend and summer team. Due to continued growth we will now be opening on Sundays and require additional staff to fulfil both a Sunday shift and additional shifts during the week throughout the summer. There is also potential to continue part time work throughout the year For the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. This position requires strong communication skills, a knack for sales, and good knowledge of IT packages including Office and the Adobe suite.

Duties

Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Assist in the on site manufacturing of products Employ upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and inventory is adequately stocked. Handle transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for cash handling and till operations. Assist in the on site manufacturing of products Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while providing outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is advantageous but not essential. Understanding of both the Welsh and English language preferable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. A friendly disposition with the ability to engage customers positively and professionally. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
