Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their purchases. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising techniques. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, employing upselling techniques where appropriate. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a professional demeanour. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring basic math skills are applied effectively. Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organisation of merchandise. Uphold company standards for cleanliness and organisation within the store environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues alike. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management tasks. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods. Organisational skills to maintain orderliness on the sales floor and manage stock effectively. Experience in merchandising is advantageous but not necessary as full training will be provided.
