Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products through effective upselling techniques. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies. Handle transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Answer phone calls professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while assisting customers with their queries. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Stay informed about product knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Time management skills that enable you to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
