As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. This position requires strong organisational skills, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that suit their needs. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked. Engage with customers through effective phone etiquette, providing information about products and services. Upsell additional products by understanding customer preferences and suggesting complementary items. Process transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
