We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team at Guess as a part time sales assistant. This is a Christmas Temp position and the contact is due end 4th of January. However, there is the opportunity to potentially be given a permanent position at the end of the fixed term contract.
Needs to be confident in providing strong customer service and be able to work towards targets and KPIs. We are looking for a fun, outgoing individual who has a passion for our brand and who is enthusiastic about joining our team.
The contracts available are all 8 hours, with this being worked minimum each week. There is however the opportunity of overtime when needed. You will be required to work all peak shifts over the Christmas period including Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. Experience is not always necessary but being a people person with confidence is essential, as this role is very customer facing.
Our sales assistants are responsible for generating sales, providing customer service and maintaining visual and housekeeping standards on the shop floor. The main role of the sales assistant is to greet, acknowledge and serve all customers, so someone with previous experience in retail/hospitality is desired but not essential. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining solid product knowledge
Achieving individual sales targets
Locating merchandise for customers
Assisting in replenishing merchandise
Maintaining visual and housekeeping standards
Demonstrating ability to work successfully in a team with all company employees
