We have an exciting opportunity in our Showroom Team as a Sales Assistant this Christmas from November through to early January with the potential for a permanent role in the future. We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible individual who loves music and can help to deliver an amazing retail experience. The role will involve communicating effectively, helping clients identify the right products or services, and supporting them with any after-care they require.
You will be given full training on our range of music and accessories. Whoever is successful will gain great experience, not only of the music industry, but also transferable skills in communication, sales, customer service, and organisation.

Pay:
12.50-13.50 per hour
Purpose of role:
To deal with day-to-day enquiries and showroom tasks, ensuring a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Meeting and greeting clients and customers in person and/or on the phone. Qualifying their enquiry, building trust whilst guiding customers through our sales or customer service processes to a successful outcome or referring to a specialist
Maintaining showroom standards including cleaning, tidying, and organising music, accessories
Calling piano tuning customers to schedule appointments
Using our stock control system to help book in stock, process invoices and maintain product data
Picking and processing web orders
Answering the phone and triaging calls to the relevant team members
Processing rental applications both booking out and returning
Supporting marketing events and other in store activities
Ensuring all company procedures and policies are followed in a timely manner
Education & Qualification:
Educated to A-level or equivalent by experience
Knowledge & Experience:
Essential
Enthusiasm for and passions for music
Desirable
Previous experience in a Retail or Hospitality role
Musical instrument experience i.e. playing any instrument
Skills:
The ability to retain a variety of product information
Ability to organise and prioritise a variety of tasks and responsibilities

Strong IT skills, full training will be given but you will be expected to operate a variety of different systems

Compensation and details of Employment:
Basic salary commensurate with skills and experience in the range of 12.50-13.50 per hour
Hours: 25-35 hours per week (including Saturdays)
