Sales Assistant (christmas Temp)
Job Description
Christmas is coming and we're on the look out for some fabulous Sales Assistants to help us to manage the busy Christmas period. With roles available at various different locations in the Postmark family we offer a vibrant and fun work environment.
Reliable and confident, you will be ready to get stuck in and do what you can to support our teams at this busy and exciting time.
With contracts of 6-8 weeks and a chance to pick up extra shifts, this is a great opportunity to increase your retail skills in a short space of time.
If you've got bags of enthusiasm and a can do attitude then this could be just the role for you!
We are looking for Christmas Temps at the following locations - please indicate which stores you would be happy to work at when you apply. Please note you can work at more than one store.

Waterloo
London Bridge
Kings Cross
Greenwich
East Dulwich
Blackheath
Balham
Canary Wharf
Liverpool Street
Please note - As this role will involve opening stores and occasionally working alone you must be
18 years or older

Greeting customers who enter the shop Merchandising and tidying to ensure the shop floor looks its best and has a great selection of cards, especially bestsellers, available. Assisting shoppers to find items they are looking for. Answering queries from customers. Processing cash and card payments Keeping the store tidy and clean Pricing merchandise Balancing cash registers with receipts if you are on a closing shift. Reporting any discrepancies and problems to your supervisor. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
The personal skills that we look for at Postmark:
A friendly and engaging personality. Comfortable working with members of the public. A confident manner. Helpful and polite. Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift stock items. An interest in cards and stationery Able to work as part of a team. Smart appearance and articulate. Great English Retail experience
