Sales Assistant - Innovation Flooring

Job Type:

Full-Time (35 hours per week)

Schedule:

5 days per week, including rotational weekends

Salary:

Negotiable depending on experience

Innovation Flooring Scotland is a locally trusted flooring specialist dedicated to providing high-quality products and a first-class customer experience. Based in Clydebank, we supply and install a wide range of flooring solutions including carpets, vinyl, laminate, LVT, engineered wood, and more.

Job Summary

As a Sales Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers in our showroom. Your main role is to provide a 5-star customer experience while helping customers choose flooring and carpet products that suit their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service Assist customers in selecting flooring and carpets Build strong product knowledge across all ranges Offer accurate advice, measurements, and recommendations Process sales and handle general showroom tasks Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members Support the team in meeting sales targets

What We're Looking For

Experience in sales or customer service (flooring experience is a plus but not essential) Strong communication and people skills Friendly, confident, and customer-focused attitude Willingness to work weekends on a rota Reliable, motivated, and a team player Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
