We are looking for a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills and a passion for delivering great customer service.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping experience
Offer product information and answer customer queries confidently and courteously
Assist with merchandising displays to ensure the store remains attractive and well-organised
Upsell products where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities
Manage transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash and card payments
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor and stock areas
Support stock replenishment and inventory management tasks
Utilise phone etiquette skills when responding to customer calls or inquiries
Apply time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Experience
Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be given
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: 12.21-12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 14 - 28 per week
