Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, utilising upselling techniques when appropriate. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising practices. Handle customer inquiries via phone or in-person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Process transactions accurately while ensuring basic math skills are applied for cash handling. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment. Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within designated time frames. Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organisation of merchandise displays.

Qualifications

Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Previous experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory effectively. Time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
