We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service while assisting in achieving sales targets. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish and English, are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor to enhance the customer experience. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding customer feedback and inventory needs. Utilise basic maths skills to handle cash transactions and balance cash registers. Engage with customers issues over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette at all times. Support promotional activities and assist in merchandising efforts to drive sales. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve individual and team sales goals.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is an advantage. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to achieve personal targets.
