Summary

We are seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team at Premier Lower Darwen in the heart of our community. This role is essential in enhancing customer experience and driving sales through exceptional service and product knowledge. Must be 18+ years od to serve alcohol, lottery & tobacco.

25+year old with a clean driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and products to effectively upsell. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the EPOS system. Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the shop. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Support marketing efforts through promotional displays and product demonstrations. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
