We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service while effectively promoting our products.

Duties

Assist customers with their inquiries and provide knowledgeable product information. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, employing upselling techniques where appropriate. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies. Process transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies. Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is replenished and displayed correctly. Handle customer complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls and inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable (multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply). Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not essential. A friendly demeanour with a genuine interest in helping customers find the right products.
