We are looking for over 18 year olds due to 'Age Restricted Sales'. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service, ensuring that every customer has a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting our products, assisting customers with their needs, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandising display to attract customers. Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling. Answer customer inquiries via phone with proper phone etiquette and professionalism. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and excellent customer service. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential. Candidates must be fluent in English. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse customers. A proactive approach to learning about new products and services offered by the store.
