Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with merchandising, and driving sales. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage time efficiently and maintain an organised workspace while engaging with customers.

The shifts available are from Monday to Sunday on a rota basis,

6am to 10am (would not be suitable for anyone in full time education).

10am to 2pm (would not be suitable for anyone in full time education).

2pm to 5/6pm (would not be suitable for anyone in full time education).

5/6pm to 9/10pm

Responsibilities

Opening and closing of store Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively. Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising tasks. Process transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

Strong communication skills. Proven organisational skills to manage tasks effectively and maintain a tidy work environment. Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Experience in merchandising to create appealing product displays. A friendly demeanour with the ability to engage customers positively and professionally. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
