Summary

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at Shell Clumber on Scotswood Road . This role is vital in ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service while shopping at our petrol forecourts. Based in the North East of England, you will contribute to our mission of providing a friendly and efficient shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Key holder and lone worker responsibility, you will work independently at this site. Assist customers with their purchases and provide exceptional service. Manage the sales register and handle cash transactions accurately. Promote products through effective upselling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area. Support inventory management by restocking shelves as needed. Communicate effectively with customers. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and shift reconciliation. Experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential. Organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
