Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused
Sales Assistant
to join our team for evening and weekend shifts. You will be the friendly face of the store, providing excellent service to customers, keeping displays stocked and appealing, and ensuring the shop is clean, organised, and welcoming.Customer Service
Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner. Assist customers with product selection, queries, and purchases. Operate the till accurately, process payments, and issue receipts.
Sales & Merchandising
Maintain well-stocked, tidy, and attractive product displays.
Store Presentation & Hygiene
Keep the shop floor, shelves, and counter areas clean and organised. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Team Support & Operations
Assist with stock deliveries and ensure correct storage and rotation. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations. Close the store securely at the end of evening shifts (if required).
Requirements
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (training provided). Friendly and confident with excellent communication skills. Reliable and able to work evenings, weekends, and occasional extra shifts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
Work Location: In person
