Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Assist in upselling additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and easily accessible. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for cash handling. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive working environment. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.

Skills

Proven ability to sell products effectively while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable for engaging with a diverse customer base. Strong organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently and ensure a smooth sales process. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with customers and colleagues. Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
