Summary

We are seeking an experienced sales assistant who has worked in a pet store or similar and is knowledgeable about pets, grooming, pet products etc. and is dedicated to presenting our store to an immaculate standard and helping our customers. It is imperative that our candidate is experienced in fantastic customer service together with attention to detail, stock control and upselling and increasing sales and promoting growth of the company,

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the pet store, including window displays, cleaning, restocking etc. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the salon. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services and care recommendations. Handle scheduling, inventory management, and administrative tasks efficiently. Drive sales initiatives and promote salon services to enhance business growth. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and enthusiasm.

Requirements

Proven experience in a pet store or similar environment. Excellent reliability, time keeping. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to serve and form great relationships with our clients and their pets. A happy, sunny, can do disposition and a desire to work hard to improve customer experience in store Great maths and ability to perform cash up etc. correctly. You may be required to help with social media etc. so written communication very important.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 27 per week
