Essex Discount Furniture is a family run business, selling discounted home and garden furniture. We are looking for a sales assistant who will be confident, friendly, outgoing, able to work within a team and assisting customers within our shop.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in assisting customers and enhancing their shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and purchases
- Utilise phone etiquette to handle incoming calls and provide information about products or services
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions
- Assisting customers with loading furniture into their vehicles
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised sales floor
Sales experience preffered
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately
- Strong time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Working hours will include alternate weekends, with day/s off during the week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
