We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Gainsborough, United Kingdom. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of our retail operation.

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and provide expert advice to customers Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised sales floor Assist with stock management, including receiving, unpacking, and replenishing merchandise Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service Participate in visual merchandising to create attractive product displays Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a courteous and efficient manner Stay informed about promotions, special offers, and new product arrivals Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating a can-do attitude and supporting colleagues

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and peak trading periods Strong initiative and self-motivation Team player with a collaborative approach Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain a tidy work environment Enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer service Willingness to learn about products and stay updated on new arrivals Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with stock movement * GCSE or equivalent qualifications (desirable)
