As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through effective merchandising, upselling, and providing exceptional support to our clientele.

Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Assist in merchandising products to create an appealing shopping environment. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey product information. Utilise basic math skills for processing transactions accurately. Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes. Exhibit phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via telephone. Employ upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised workspace and ensure stock levels are adequately monitored. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.

Requirements

Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable. Proven experience in a retail or sales environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
