The Opportunity

We are excited to offer a part time Sales Assistant opportunity working at Ramsdens Home Interiors on Cleethorpe Road.

We are looking for a personable individual who has a flare for sales and enjoys supporting and advising customers with their home furnishing purchases.

The Company

We are a Grimsby based family run business, focussed on Convenience Retail Stores and Delivered Wholesale in the North of England.

What will you be doing?

This is a combined role covering and supporting all departments around the store, therefore the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team is required.

This role is customer facing and deals with members of the public on a daily basis, therefore customer services skills are essential.

As a Sales Assistant, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Arranging merchandise on shelves Approach customers and offer them advise on products Provide information and other services such as handling returns Locate products on behalf of customers Deal with customer complaints in a patient and helpful manner Operate the cash register
Requirements:

Exceptional customer service Ability to work under pressure Ability to work in a team
Ideally you will have gained some experience in the retail sector, although this is not essential as full training will be provided.

Experience in carpet/ curtain retail would be preferable, but is not essential.

Hours of work

30 hours a week over 5 days. Will include weekends.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
