As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent communication skills. Process transactions accurately Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions Excellent organisational skills to manage inventory and merchandising tasks efficiently. Previous experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not essential. A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products within the store. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required by the business needs.
