We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our small but busy showroom and help ensure every customer receives a great experience.

Job Summary

Join our friendly windows and doors business in Huntingdon as a part-time Sales Assistant. You'll help customers with quotes, sales, and enquiries in our busy showroom. Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm -- no weekends, full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers to the showroom and provide friendly, professional assistance.

Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person.

Prepare and process accurate quotes using our in-house systems.

Follow up on quotes to convert enquiries into sales.

Handle cash and card payments accurately.

Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised showroom and displays.

Develop a good understanding of our products (windows, doors, trims, silicones, and accessories).

Check and move stock safely when required.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.

Comply with age restrictions, safety, and company procedures.

Skills and Experience

Experience in a sales, retail, trade counter, or customer service role preferred but not essential -- full training provided.

Strong communication skills and polite, professional telephone manner.

Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn bespoke systems.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude.

Able to work efficiently as part of a small team.
