Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive assistance throughout their shopping experience Assist customers with product enquiries, offering knowledgeable advice on features and benefits Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays Upsell relevant products to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, adhering to phone etiquette and organisational protocols Manage stock levels, organise stockroom efficiently, and assist with inventory checks Support team members in achieving sales targets through effective communication and teamwork Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries promptly and courteously Keep the sales area clean, organised, and inviting for customers

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers of varied backgrounds Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately and managing stock counts Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise responsibilities effectively Time management abilities to ensure prompt service during busy periods Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques will be beneficial Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions
