Inverness Whisky is an independent specialist whisky shop located off Church Street in Inverness. Established in 2023, we have a strong emphasis on small and independent producers and providing exceptional customer service.
Job Summary
We are looking for both full and part time staff to join our team this summer.
The main tasks in this role involve all aspects of retail from offering great customer service and advice, till operating including cash handling, merchandising, stock replenishment and deliveries which might involve heavy manual lifting and general housework duties to ensure a clean and tidy store.
Whisky knowledge is desirable but not essential, what is more important is a genuine passion for customer service and a desire to learn.
Shifts will be over weekdays, evenings and weekends so flexibility is essential.
Qualifications
Proficiency in English is essential.
Whisky knowledge is not a requirement, what is more important is the desire to learn!
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
Experience in retail or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to upsell products while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
Multilingual capabilities are an advantage, enhancing our service to diverse clientele.

Pay: 22,880.00-24,387.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
