Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits to encourage sales. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Manage stock levels, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and products are displayed attractively. Utilise basic math skills for transactions and inventory management. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is advantageous but not essential. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable. Strong organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike. Familiarity with merchandising principles is a plus, enhancing the visual appeal of the store. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
