Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hard-working individual to join our team at JS Fruiterers, a well-established traditional greengrocers known for providing the freshest, highest-quality fruit and vegetables to our local community. Key Responsibilities: Operating the till and handling cash and card transactions accurately Serving customers with a warm, helpful and professional manner Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the shop floor Replenishing stock and rotating produce to ensure freshness Assisting with unpacking and merchandising deliveries Providing basic product knowledge and advice to customers Supporting the team during busy periods and covering additional shifts where needed Ideal Candidate: Has previous retail, cashier or customer service experience (preferred but not essential) Is trustworthy, punctual and dependable Has a friendly and approachable attitude Can work well in a small team and take initiative Is physically fit and able to be on their feet during shifts, with some light lifting required Has a genuine interest in fresh produce and traditional retail This is a permanent part-time role, ideal for someone looking for regular hours with the flexibility to take on extra shifts when available. You'll be working in a close-knit team and serving a loyal customer base in a welcoming, traditional shop setting. Pay: 12.50 per hour
